To begin the process of claiming your business’ Google Places page, you must have a Google account. If you already have a Google account, such as Gmail or Google Plus and want to use that account to claim your Google Places page, you can skip this video lesson.
However, it’s probably a good idea to create a Google account specifically for your business if you are currently using your Google account for yourself personally.
Once you have a Google Account, you can also use it for many other valuable Google services including Gmail, Google Docs and Google Analytics, which we cover in other videos.
